The suit is made out of a woven Nomex material; a fire-retardant material that protects the driver from extreme heat and fire. Unlike other flame-retardant materials, the flame resistance of Nomex does not diminish through washing or wear. We produce two suits for each driver per year, so availability is extremely limited. This 2007 driver suit was worn by Flying Lizard driver Johannes van Overbeek. Wearing this suit, and driving in the No. 45 Porsche with fellow driver Jörg Bergmeister, Johannes finished second in the ALMS GT2 Drivers' Championship and he took the 2007 Porsche Cup title. van Overbeek is one of only five U.S. drivers to win the prestigious Porsche Cup award since its inception in 1970. He is the first American to win since 2002. This suit was custom manufactured and embroidered for Johannes by Stand 21. This suit is sold as-is for memorabilia purposes only. It has been worn for a season in demanding conditions and has some thread-wear and discoloration. Since all of our driver suits are custom-made, the standard sizing charts are not applicable. For those who are curious, Johannes is 6'-1" tall and weighs 165 lbs. This suit comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Flying Lizard Motorsports. 2007 Driver Suit Jörg - Front 2007 Driver Suit Jörg - Back		2007 Driver Suit - Jörg Bergmeister A driver's uniform or firesuit, is primarily used for safety.
